Go Fast

Do you have a need for speed? If so come visit the Go Fast section which will host some really fast boats, custom motorcycles and street rods. Talk with representatives from Poker Runs America and the New Jersey Performance Power Boat Club (NJPPC). Get the latest information on meets, runs and have your performance questions answered by the pros.

Miss Geico

Miss GEICO,the world’s fastest offshore racing boat, makes her first appearance in Atlantic City at this year’s show. The legendary boat is powered with the same turbine engines that flew missions in the first Gulf War and is capable of reaching speeds of more than 185 miles per hour. At 40 feet and weighing 10,000 pounds, this MTI turbine race boat is run by a crew of six, including Driver Marc Granet. The boat has set two world records and participated in more than 15 races around the world in 2007. She won back-to-back world championships at the 2006 and 2007 Offshore Super Series and captured championships at Super Boat International and Offshore Performance Association. In October 2007, Miss GEICO shattered another milestone when she hit an average top speed of 188.26 mph on the Mississippi River.

Back by popular demand are the informative boating and fishing seminars produced by Fisherman magazine. Fisherman field editor Nick Honachefsky will discuss South Jersey's best fishing locations. Also, learn weakfishing secrets from Fisherman executive editor Jim Hutchinson. And don't miss famous local television personalities and the region's most successful fishing captains profess their knowledge on how to have the best boating experience. 

Steel Pier

Visit a landmark of Atlantic City’s golden age… see articles and artifacts from the Steel Pier’s gilded past (from 1898-1978), presented courtesy of Allen “Boo” Pergament an Atlantic City Historian. Play some games of chance from this time period by the current occupants of the Steel Pier.

Sea Quest Kids

Kids will have fun and learn at the same time from the great folks at Sea Quest Kids. Children can build a boat with their own hands as well as view the video series on Boating & Water Safety for Kids and Families. This is a great way for the young ones to be entertained and learn some valuable skills.

Guitar Hero III contest

If you think you have what it takes to be a rock star enter the Guitar Hero contest that will take place on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.  If you are the top competitor you will win a Guitar Hero III package for a gaming system of their choice.

NJ Test Out Exam

Are you a NJ boater? Do you need the proper certification to operate a powered vessel? If you answered yes then we can help. Take the Test Out exam right here at the show administered by Captain Russ Binns of Coast Boating School. Following successful completion of this 50-question exam boaters will be legally allowed to operate a power vessel in New Jersey. Cost mandated by New Jersey law, is $25. The test is located in room 310 where the Boating Seminars take place.

Allstate Safety Weekends

On Saturday and Sunday, thanks to the generosity of Allstate, free life jackets are available for kids 12 and under at the Allstate booth 712 (while supplies last).
