New 295DC World Cat

PowerCat Group

Booth D20-D30

With an all-new hull design, new materials and a new look topside, World Cat has remade its popular 29-foot dual console model. The new 295DC has a new hull design, a new fiberglass stringer grid system and incorporates lighter, stronger materials to produce a catamaran that jumps to plane at 2500 rpms and maintains a fuel economy around 2 miles per-gallon from 18 to 30 miles per hour. This gives the cat hull a wide range of cruising speeds to match the wide range of uses these versatile boats provide. When it is time to run home, the big cat tops out over 50 miles per hour with dual 250 horsepower engines.

At 29’1” and with a 9’6” beam, the 295DC dual console has the ride and size to range far offshore with 250 gallons of fuel and a 450 mile range. In the big aft cockpit, anglers will find a 200 quart insulated fish box and a 35 gallon live well beneath aft facing seats set up to watch trolling baits. The aft fold down seats have back rests that disappear when fishing to reveal the cutting boards and knife holders needed to rig baits. Plus, port and starboard gunwale storage compartments hold everything from tackle trays to leader reels and lure Page 2 New World Cat 295DC catamaran bags. Open the transom door and work fish around the engines on the big, extended swim platform between the engines. When the fish are biting, there is more insulated storage under the starboard bow seats. In short, the 295DC is a big open platform designed for fishermen.

Launch of the 251 CE, “Coastal Explorer”

Space D31

Grady-White is pioneering a whole new category of inshore/offshore boat with the introduction of the sporty 251 CE, “Coastal Explorer.” The 251 CE is the first of its kind from Grady-White, and is designed to provide a piece of heaven for practicality, utility, ease of use and family fun with comfort around back waters, beaches, waterways, sounds and inlets, along with Grady-Built peace of mind. Here’s the Grady-White answer for off-the-beaten-track coastal fun and versatility in skinnier water. Although created for use inshore, the 251 CE is not a “bay boat,” offering much more offshore capability and versatility than any boat in that genre.

The 251 CE Coastal Explorer features low gunwales that provide very easy access to the water, and a bow ladder for beaching. This low profile look is all new for Grady-White, and the boat offers performance to match its style.  Transformable seats forward and aft go from bench style to lounge, and make the boat perfect for playing, relaxing, and fun for socializing.  As with every Grady-White, add rods and tackle and you have a fishing boat that is truly without peer.  Packed with so many features, there’s something for everyone in the family on this boat.
