One would be hard pressed to find a name more steeped in the history of NJ’s party boat fleet than Bogan. Capt. Bob Bogan has been on the water his entire life; with all those years on the water, primarily targeting fluke, one is almost guaranteed to learn something new from Capt. Bob. His success is a result of him getting his customers on the fish. Captains can’t just call it a day when things turn south; learn to adapt and improvise like a professional to help make your outings for fluke and other bottom fish more productive.
About Captain Bob Bogan
Gambler Fishing/Point Pleasant Beach, NJ
One would be hard pressed to find a family name with a longer history in New Jersey’s recreational fisheries than the Bogan family. Born into the family business and mating on various boats in the family fleet, Bob’s entire life has been spent on the water. The Gamble has been family owned and operated since 1949 and has become one of top boats on the Jersey coast. Bob consistently puts the Gambler on the fish from fluke and sea bass on the inshore wrecks to tuna and swordfish at the canyons.
