|Wednesday, February 26, 2:30 pm||Discover Fishing Seminars – Space P32||Jim Hutchinson, Jr.|
The spring run of striped bass coincides with the return of bunker to New Jersey waters. These post-spawn fish begin filtering out of the spawning areas while following these menhaden along the coast, offering one of the best opportunities of the year to land a 40lb+ bass. With pending regulatory changes for striped bass, greater focus is being made on techniques to increase the survival of released fish. Jim walks through the latest gear and terminal tackle improvements to increase survival rates while chasing bunker-busting spring stripers.
