WHAT:             The Progressive® Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show®docks at the Atlantic City Convention Center February 27-March 3 with more than 500 boats and activities to give lifelong boating enthusiasts and novices alike an all-access pass to discover why life is better with a boat. Serious shoppers will benefit from “Super Thursday” deals on boats and accessories as they shop, compare and find competitive deals on hundreds of the latest boats and thousands of new technologies.   • Expanded Touch-a-Boat Tour for Kids features Sea Tow & Boat U.S. rescue vessels, plus a variety of recreational boats throughout the Show floor. Little skippers can pick up their passport then visit all stops, climb aboard, talk to captains and get a stamp at each stop. Youngsters who visit all stops get a prize!
  • Virtual Reality Boat Races & more at Progressive® Boat Club – In this interactive space, attendees can boost their nautical know-how with top-notch mariners from the Annapolis School of Seamanship teaching hands-on boating courses for all levels of experience. Visitors can also try Progressive’s Oculus Rift virtual reality experience, putting themselves at the helm of a virtual boat race. Plus, attendees can chat with a Progressive expert to ask any questions about boating coverages or get a free quote.

  • Support “Let Us Eat, Please” – Did you know 1 in 7 kids in New Jersey are hungry on a regular basis? Help make a difference on Thursday, February 28 at the Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show’s Captain’s Table Gala, a special fundraiser for “Let Us Eat, Please” and the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, local nonprofits that help deliver meals to kids in need.

  • Pennsylvania annual economic impact from recreational boating is $3.8 Billion providing 18,355 direct and indirect jobs in the industry.
